Blue Cross of India, one of India's finest animal welfare organisations and the pioneer of the spay, vaccinate and release programme for street dogs; A programme which has brought down the incidence of rabies in humans wherever it is properly implemented, and contributing very much to the cessation of the barbaric killing of dogs by the municipal authorities.
